do you want to talk about it?
I'm probably not much help, but talking about your problems is always a good thing...

Lauren...I'm sorry you feel so bad, hun. I went through that not long ago and I know it's so easy to sit back and watch life go by and not see the point of living, but you have to find something positive and hang on to that. The only person that can bring you back up is you - just try to look on the bright side! You have music, you have people here on the board that are here for you and I'm sure you have other friends and people you can talk to. Just try to do normal stuff, go shopping with your friends, go to the movies, have a girly chat - all that stuff can make you feel a lot better. (Or you could drink lots of coffee and go hyper... )

But I'm sure you get my point - believe that things can get better, make them get better and everything will be okay.

*huge hugs*

Like Tia said, only YOU are the one that can make things better. And i know you can do that aswell Lauren, everyone goes through hard times in their life- you can pull yourself out of it because you're strong, and because you're a wonderful person. Don't forget it.

.....music (especially all vanessa carlton's music --and lots and lots of music) makes me forget about all the bad things..

...i take music like i take medicine.
i know that this may be different for other people...
but for me, ......listening to music is like escaping from the world to go to a perfect world in my head where everything is right and perfect.

i hope you feel better soon.
always remember that you are not alone. there are many many many other people who feel like crap every day. ---its a normal human thing, even though it may not seem like it.

Aw, I'm sorry Lauren! I've been there so I know how you feel! *hugs*

I agree with everyone on the music thing! Vanessa's music especailly helps me! songs like Paradise ( i even told nessa that on at the dvd taping), Twilight, and All I Ask. Also "whisper" by Evanescence helps me too!
Take Vanessa herself as an example, in the Teen Vogue artical she talks about how she went through the same thing, but look at her now!

Trust me... things will get better for you!

Apart from VC...

Michelle Branch - The Spirit Room (always works for me)
Evanescence - Fallen - Whisper
Aimee Mann - Lost In Space - Pavlov's Bell
Sarah McLachlan - Surfacing - Sweet Surrender

And loads more...but those are the only one I can think of right now...lol
