I'm very very disappointed..., just 4 of you (out of 26) gave the right answer. It really is Vanessa in the picture. The woman on the right is Molly Brenner, I believe she's an actrice or something. The pic was taken during some kind of video or photoshoot if I remember correctly.
I hav actually become friends randomly through myspace with molly and this is what she says...
"Well, if it is the picture from my site, Vanessa is definitely NOT in it!!! It's just from the set of that horrid day."
"Yeah, I guess you can rescue the board from misinformation! They must've pulled it because the title of that photo on my page is "Vanessa Carlton." Hmmm... "
and this is what she said about her experience and why she will never do music videos again...
"I'd say "talent" but it doesn't really take much of that to be in a video. They wanted us to get in a worm and dead rat infested swamp at 5am, fully clothed without a towel or hose in sight. (one girl pulled her panties off in front of the entire crew because she was SO desperate to get the WORMS out of them!!!)
They wanted us to "make-out" with all these strangers that they would pair us up with on the banks of this mudpit, on a hill of earwigs, and just general other torture.
It was awful. They paid me extra to use my old muscle car as a "picture vehicle" but then asked people to get ON my car and dance (which didn't happen)?!?! They wanted me back for the second day of shooting, but that was plenty for me.
The story is endless, but those are the basics. "
she is a fabulous girl and she had the least fun time on the set of vanessa's video - what is sooooo funny is that we were talking and talking and i checked out her website and saw that photo and was quite tickled that, that was her picture... that you guys had posted so long ago
anywho - hope that clears it up - and in the end - ha ha ha ha ha - I was right!
