I only heard about this movie today for the first time during it's Superbowl ad. I swear it looks like the most kickass movie of the year!

Hugh Jackman just keeps picking the perfect rolls! Wolverine, now Van Helsing... I'm starting to think he can do no wrong. lol! (Swordfish was pretty damn good too!)

To me this looked like a cheap graphics movie. But that's just me.

I'm really excited to see Van Helsing; I'm a huge Dracula geek (referring to the original novel). Of course, the movie won't stay true to the book at all, I'm sure (Van Helsing is a seventy year old professor in the book, in this movie he's a twenty-something vampire slayer  ), but apparently it's made by the same guy who did the remakes of "The Mummy," so it should be decent.

Sorry I'm posting twice in a row...

Well, it comes out this Friday...I've been following it though Google news for a while now. It looks like a really fun movie; I can't wait to see it; I'm probably going Friday.

Anyone else?

yup, out this Friday! I want to see it too! There's huge promo of it here, it looks pretty interesting.

This Spanish actress, Elena Anaya, plays a vampire in the film, I think.

there's only four seasons
and this one's almost gone
these nights feel so good
but this one's almost gone

I'm gonna see it this weekend maybe or early next week.
One cool thing for once: the movie is out since Wednesday here!  :D  (although I'm gonna have to go for the dubbed version, but, eh, I have a free ticket!)

OMG I just got back from seeing it....It kicks @$$! :D Richard Roxburgh totally steals the show as Count Dracula; the brides, particularly Silvia Colloca and Elena Anaya (Verona and Aleera) are great. I don't know what people are whining about other places online; Hugh Jackman and Kate Beckinsale have very solid performances in the lead roles (though their dialogue isn't LOTR quality, that's a writing issue, not acting).

Go see it....NOW!!!! :D
