my high school has this Valentines Day dance and they call it the Sweetheart Dance where the girls have to ask the guys to the dance. usually the guys ask anyways, but i asked a good friend of mine named Tim so we're going tonight. it's gonig to be so much fun! i'll post pictures tomorrow.

does anyone else have these kind of dances at your school and are you going?

we were going to but, the juniors have a Junior Dinner Dance... tonight.  It's tradition.   But.... I can't wait for PROM!  :lol:

yes we have that, its called Sadie Hawkins.

they have it in the spring out doors, we have like two dj's and food outside on the football field under a tent thing, its really pretty.

the girls ask the guys, and sadie hawkins is one of the best dances.

Wayy back when I was in hs that's what we called it. It was usually in the winter or fall I forget actually. We also wore the same shirt/sweater or what not, and would take pictures. Do you do that too? Or am I speaking my age? Haha

I like it the traditional way when the male pays, not that I have a problem paying but ya know...   :wink:

lol no one really asks anyone to go though...we just all kinda show up, get our freak on (hmm sounds dirrty) and go home.

i don't think we wear the same shirt/sweater (that sort of thing)...

I think the "walk in the clouds" theme is better than homecoming, it was Jungle Fever.
