and lemme tell ya---its really scary when it hits close to home.
no one was severely injured, but a student walked into the school today carrying a shotgun, and supposedly came out of a bathroom with bullets in one hand, and the gun in the other. he shot three times hitting a teacher. my friends at that school are terrified and shooken up completely, one of which had bullet holes in the doorway to her classroom.
the students are thankful that no one was killed, although interviews on the news had students telling stories about the gun being pointed straight at them and ducking for their lives.
the teacher was released, and will be okay.
you think of columbine, and how its so far away from you, but a school 20 minutes away from me, one of which i've been to for sports and such, its just scary.
please pray for everyone involved, and for the fact that no one ever again should be put into this situation.
just beware that people are capable of doing anything..good or bad 8O
