EDIT: Straight from Vanessa, first single is "White Houses" -BV

okay so i'm in the family car with the parental units on the way to church, and ATM comes on and i was like "yay!" and of course started singing along and stuff. well when the song was over, (Liza Gibbon's Hollywood Confidential was on), Liza comes on the air and says:

"that was Vanessa Carlton with A thousand Miles, on Hollywood Confidential. i love that song. Vanessa's releasing a new album soon, and the first track being released off that one is a song called MORNING STING.we'll be lookin' for that."

SO, if what this chick says is true, that's the first single. but can anyone actually confirm this?

you know, this is probally correct. Morning Sting is the first single!

because you know,Vanessa NEVER said "White Houses is my first single"
she just said it was a new song she made.
and she never named the first single, only said "i believe i have a new first single"
 :razz:
this is great news!!!!!!!!
everyone will love morning sting!
i cant wait for it!
im gonna buy the single cd as soon as it comes out!!!!!! AHHHH!!! :D

Exactly. Personally i don't mind what the single is, as it will probably never be released here- but i just want to know if it will be at all successful there.

That was also the first thing I wondered. I bet it's a good, but if her first single flops, she's doomed.
