You know alot of people have stated the music of Vanessa Carlton is pretty deep and ambiguous. This in turn has the effect of stimulating some people to attempt to figure it all out. It seems to be the natural reaction of the intellect to those things which evade us. But at what point is this invasive or encroachment?
I know for instance I think alot about various things, especially those topics or objects which are at most in the forefront of my attention and which seem to lack definitive form with respect to my understanding. When it comes to art though, and more specifically contemporary art, where the artist lives in our day and age, how much is too much?
