I Believe You (poem)

I Believe You

Janet, my love
I would've loved you either way
Never changed my good thoughts of you
Janet, my love
Some people don't know how much you truly care
People are too protective of things that don't matter and punish good people for being real
To express sexuality is frowned upon to many
But some agree
Don't let them hurt you
You deserve respect
I'm always here if you feel fear
I wish I could hug you and let you know
I believe you
"If only I could get into that corner of your head."
