Lol, kay, hope nobody gets mad at me for posting this, but I know there are a lot of people here from California... and in... hmm?  a week?  I think a week, I'll be in California.

There are tons and tons of Cali books and such, and they all list places that I should "supposedly" go and visit.  Anyways, I was wondering if anyone here has any suggestions of things that when I go to Cali, I MUST see.  I figure people that live there probably know best, right?

I know I at least want to go to LA and SF... soo... yeah.  I have unlimited greyhound passes, so wherever there is a bus station, I can go.

I also have a six flags season pass... there is one of those out there, right?  Is it worth going to?

The Six Flags I know of is Six Flags Marine World, over by Vallejo I think. It's definitely worth it. What you must do in California, though, is eat at an In-N-Out Burger fast food restaurant...the best burgers in the world, and only in good old CA (well, okay, so now there's like one in Las Vegas and one in Arizona, but who's counting?) 8)

There are two Six Flags parks.  One in Vallejo and one down in So Cal.  Either or is nice.  You MUST go to SF and shop on Haight.  That's what I'll be doing on Tuesday anyway. :D

The whole central coast is really pretty.  Just try to get on a bus route from LA to SF that takes you on the coast.  Some get into the valley.  While I love the valley (and am like a total valley girl), if you've only got a little while, there's not a lot here to see.
I think you underestimate the level of my sneakiness

HELL NO, that place has THE nastiest burgers, McDonalds Happy Meals are better!

A burger place you must go to would have to be Fatburger. duh.  :D

Six Flags Magic Mountain is kick ass and you must go!!!

Disneyland...not really....not something that is worth it.

Erm...Raging Waters (the water park) the best place ever, in San Dimas.

Knotts Berry farm, don't waste your day on that pathetic theme park. Only a couple of good rides, not worth wasting a whole day over it though.

Only if it were Knotts Scary Farm, but even that, isn't all that scary.  :o

What else? *thinks*

Universal Studios Hollywood/Universal City Walk, fun fun fun.  :D

Venice Beach in Santa Monica, walk around and shop. Its cool.

OR . . .

You could just not go to California and come to wonderful, schizophrenic/bipolar-weathered Kentucky.

No,I thought you were from Oklahoma.

Once a year the best managers all get free trips. Generally to Florida. I'm hoping one day it will be in Kentucky;some place I've never been.

Why would it rupture a kidney?
