and no their was not a piano i think it is either like a c maj or a min orf a g maj thing going on in the sog because her lyrics goin around both keys im listening to it again to look fo r piano besides the transitioning c's between the chorus and 2nd chorus

Vanessa (7-15-04 Los Angelas)= I have killed myself for this record.  It's the most important record, `cause it's your second one, So I think (um), either I get to establish my place in music, or I dont.

SuChin=  Vanessa recorded her sophmore CD this past winter at Geroge Lucas's legandary Sky Walker Ranch.

Vanessa= I think the songs are (uh), more sophistacated, I think the lyrics are better.

SuChin= (Clip of Ordinary Day) Ten tracks made it onto the album which Vanessa herself helped produce, as did Third Eye Blind's Stephan Jenkins, who just happens to be Vanessa's boyfriend.

Vanessa=  We gave it (you know) a couple of weeks to figure out if we were really gonna be able to work together, but (uh), he understands me really well, and he's a great producer.

SuChin= Now, 23 and living in San Francisco, Vanessa was in LA recentally to shoot the video for the first single from the new album.
Directed by Sofhe Miller(yeah i cant spell some things very well, so free free to correct me), the song is called "White Houses" and right now MTV News brings you an exclusive images from the set of the video and an exert from the song boh of which are being seen and heard for the first time right here, right now.
