Vanessa is just doing what she wants, she doesn't care if we get it or not
that's the whole point
the best music over the years doesn't make sense, do you think anything anyone did in the 60's made sense? or the 50's? but it was fun and memorable
it is simply her own self expression and we get to watch, I love that

I just checked and yeah, it appears that the sound of that version is kinda messed up.
So the "blood" part is skipping when I watch it and the sound is a bit de-synchronized.
Maybe that's why.
