My uncle takes pictures for one of the radio stations in Atlanta. i'm sending him an e-mail to find out if this is the same radio station, because my uncle has contacts with all the DJ's and stuff there so i'm betting he could get me some pics or an autograph!

ha ha - i am so jew-ed out - dude i don't even notice this stuff- here is the email I sent bert this morning. tell me if you think he will let me come in?

Dear Bert,

My name is Stephanie Pressman. You and I have spoken and been introduced at various functions on numerous occasions. I have always been a supporter and fan of The Bert Show and the Station - from the very beginning. (you may remember my little shrine to you guys on my website?)

Recently, a good friend of mine has become ill and will start undergoing chemotherapy soon and is moving to Los Angeles. I have decided to move and be close to her at this time. I have found a job out there and roommates and I will be moving the beginning of next week. I will sincerely miss the ability to get up in the mornings and giggle as I listen to each of your daily antics and ponderings.

Tomorrow morning my favorite artist, Vanessa Carlton will be in studio with you. I am known as her "Atlanta - Die Hard Nessaholic". I have attended every show she has done in Atlanta including your very first Q-One-on-One with her. I have also attended other shows throughout the nation including her DVD filming in NYC during the blizzard this last winter (her management asked me and a few friends to fly up on about 10 hours notice). As, this is my last few days as an Atlantan - It would mean the world to me - seriously - so, so much - If you would allow me to sit in when she is in studio tomorrow. I know it would be a rewarding experience for all parties involved. I am willing to take plenty of pictures and even write an article for your website about the experience of sitting in with you guys and what a morning is like in your world at the station. I have been in studio before with both Q100 and 99x and I assure you I would be quiet, polite, and respectful to you, all staff, and guests.

I am definitely a loyal fan and will still try to listen (despite the time difference) over the Internet whenever possible. I would love for this to be my fondest Bert Show memory ever.

Also, *wink wink* I am a cute 23 year old that will be hob knobbing' at Hollywood parties - I can call in- in the future and give you the dish as to what bad celeb gossip I spot!

Thanks so much - for taking the time to read this - and for constantly brightening my mornings the last few years. You guys have definitely changed the air waves in Atlanta and have made it a better place for us all to live in (except maybe Jeff - *wink*)

Hey Stephanie,

Thanks for the e-mail and thanks for listening.

I'm so sorry you'll be leaving for LA.  I'm from San Diego so I certainly am a little jealous. But understand that your circumstances of moving make it a little tough for you to entirely enjoy.  I bet more than anything your friend is going to be so appreciative of your support during a really, brutal time.

We'll miss ya, sister.

I wish it I could make tomorrow happen for ya but I just can't. You'd think it would be as easy as saying "yes," right? But musicians and their "people" are very sensivitve about in studio guests during interviews and it's too late to get approval at this time.

You wouldn't believe the amount of e-mails I have received from Bert Show listeners today wanting to come in studio for this interview. Its like if I could make it happen for one person I'd have to make it happen for 20.

I do hope you understand.
