I know all of us are trying hard to get "White Houses" on the TRL countdown.  I was just wondering when everyone predicts the video will break into the top 10...

I think it depends on a lot of factors.  I think judging by the seemingly tireless efforts of us fans the past couple of weeks to (seemingly) no avail makes me think the real factor is the mtv watcher that comes across the song on the radio or on tv and thinks "hey this is cool" and then goes and votes for it.

I also think the types of videos that are on already affect the voting. And I also think voting will increase when mtv and vh1 actually start PLAYING White houses in their regular rotation.

Don't get me wrong, the song has just recently been released and so has the video, so it will obviously take time, b/c VC is not a Britney or Eminem that automatically gets heavy rotation. I am just curious when everyone thinks things will start to fall into place, as we continue our efforts.

It probably won't.

As rare as MTV plays videos, I doubt their target audience even knows a video for the song even exists.

Also, the video would probably leave alot of people confused, it has nothing to do with the song. It's just her playing the piano and dancing and...yeah, that's about it.

Never. The record label obviously is enjoying the tons of free radio appearances too much to buy a slot on TRL. Oh well, they're supposed to be the professionals.  :roll:

Yeah! You think we did all that voting for Pretty Baby and it didn't do sheit? The local stations music director told me about the record label buying slots. Plus when you think about it, I don't know if it still is, but you vote for 30 minutes leading up to the show, it would take a lot more time for them to write up cue cards and prepare the stuff for the show.

It counts for the next day.  So they have 24 hours to write them up.

I have a new theory!

Since she is going to be on TRL september 10th, A&M will atleast buy her some slots to debuet and be on for the week so her performance of WH can be in the space of where he video would be if she wasn't there. So look for it to show up this week.
