Just out of curiousity, why do you have the fanscape sig which has nothing to do with Vanessa and then paste in another sig in every post?

Fanscape only recently altered the gif to promote something other than VC
and I haven't changed it because I'm working on a new NESSAsig; without
a scanner or the help of Corel Suite 12 its a slow process but it will rock :P

Played Streets for my bro who came to visit over the weekend  He's a
huge U2 fan and was really impressed by Nessa's cover. We also talked
about the Classic Albums documentory & the tale of the master tape :P

I think bro's addicted to it now  He set up a Streets hat-trick in RealOne
thismorning! The 16 item play list featured his fave U2 cover four times :D

If you have 'Harmonium', you're not stealing "Where the Streets Have No Name" in my opinion because I believe you should have it anyway. 8)

Well, i have some good news about the song, folks!!! i have the link to the acutual listen of the song, but the bad news it is that it may be available for only a limited time, like a week or so. i got it from the official Vanessa Chat, and it's a godsend, b/c i got tired of someone PM-ing me the link to the RAPID SHARE file-sharing website, b/c you have to pay to have access to download the song, and i don't have a credit card to do so. anyway, here's the link:

-I hope that works.

That's unfortunate Bianca  I was under the impression the free d/l was
still available at the link I gave you; there must have been a free d/l limit!

Thank you Krystina for sharing the link; saves peeps buying the J-Import

Peace

I have never heard the U2 version of "Streets Have No Name" but it is definetly an amazing song, especially the 1:43 second musical interlude in the beginning. lol

i think that it was amazing that she did that, b/c no other artist has done that with the piano before, not that i know of. cool, huh?.

Indeed. Hopefully a transcription will inspire peeps to share Streets VC-style 8)

i was thinking about creating a transcribsion for the song, b/c i was sitting at the piano yesterday, just playing something in D Major, nothing in particular. but there's only one problem: i don't have the software to do it with, much less know how to upload it up on the computer to post on this forum. but there's one problem with it, but it's nothing really, with the song. the piano has an echo, and a 2-part harmony. but i think i can handle it.

but if you want the song, [WTSHNN] then you can go to her official website to the forum, and then go to the thread on the first page that says something like, 'ONLY HERE; YOU'VE ONLY GOT 7 DAYS'. good luck to anyone who listens, b/c Lord knows, i love the song, and i think that they made a huge mistake when they didn't include the song on Harmonium.
