Wow, this is a cool thread! I think I can play bits of Vanessa's songs pretty well considering I have absolutely no piano training. Thanks for posting all the notes... now if I can just figure out how to read them... :)

Does anyone have any tips for playing with two hands (correctly)?

start playing verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry slooooooooooooooowly with both hands and make sure you get everything in synch. Then gradually increase to the correct playing speed.

Hmm....well I like to learn a chunk of the treble first, and then the bass to match that...and then put them together...of course, the stuff in this thread I already know bits and pieces of from other threads like it, so I can do both simultaneously here...

For whoever was asking about Dark Carnival, I have it all written out in sheets and such...I just need to make caps. I'm going to do that right now.

The notes were picked out my Amanda (JazzyManda), and I put them into sheets.

Here they are. Once again, JazzyManda is responsible for figuring out the actual notes; I simply put them into Finale. I know that Amanda plays something slightly different than what I play for the chorus; it's the same chords, just she times it differently. Ask her if you really want to know :P

I just realized that the Signum (the little squiggly -S- thing that's in the top margin on the second page) was acccidentally shifted to the left too far; now it's above the correct measure. I'm not sure if that's what Steve's talking about...?

Did you make the title yourself or do you have a Vanessa Carlton font? If the latter, can you tell me where to get it?

The font was made by Christine (TSE). I believe Katia put it on the Nh server at one point, too. Try searching for "Font" or something like that on the forums, or bug me about it on AIM.
