i stole the beginning from JazzyManda - thank you Amanda :D
it's the demo tape version...

All I Ask.pdf
All I Ask.mid

Without being cruel (As I am a big advocate of a good effort), I'd like everyone on this forum who believe this is a decent transcription of All I Ask to visit: this site to find the nearest specialist to cater to your GREAT needs.

With being cruel (As I'm a bigger advocate of pointing out when someone's fucked up): That fucking sucked. My left testicle could have more accurately plunked out All I Ask (Not to mention gracefully). That people should go crazy over the crap that you posted can only be offensive to the original artist of this work, in this case being Vanessa (But I don't know her, so I won't try to defend her). All I Ask is what the Phuk was that?!

Further more, I manually entered this in less time than it took you to sequence that horseshit MID. Now I have to go listen to good music for a fucking hour to get that shit out of my fucking head before I have bad dreams.

T.W.
P.S.: You smell

-whoa. but the transcribsion sounded [and looked] pretty accurate to me. you just gotta know how to read music to get this. that said, consider me thankful.

but just thank God i'm a mature person, b/c the average person woulda attacked you for what you said. but you don't have to worry about me doing that, though, b/c i was attacked up here recently for having a different opinion on something.

Of course, he's still trolling. He may be serious about what he's saying, but don't take the bait. YHBT!

Blue Ribbon to Will. Fo' Real. But um...what bait? (Survey says three little guppies bite.)

And without being mean, if my testicles can play the piano I can probably read music.

I probably wouldn't've worded that exactly like that (but that's just me).  This transcription is wondefully faithful to what I hear (even now in my head as this song is always playing in one room of my brain or another), and my only problem with it is the mechanisticality of it (but it was manually entered, so you'll have that).  And what exactly are you calling shit, anyway?

A) If you disagree with me, of course you wouldn't word it like I did...dumbass.

B) The transcription may be faithful to what you hear. As I suggested before, get your ears checked.

4) Why the hell should I listen to someone that makes up their own words (mechanisticality). That's so not "Kosher-istical" in my book. On top of that you hear stuff in different rooms of your head. Have you ever heard screams for help?

and Finally) Let's go over the basic structure of a simple sentence; shall we?

Quote from: "http://www.uottawa.ca/academic/arts/writcent/hypergrammar/sntstrct.html"

Usually the sentence has a subject as well as a predicate and both the subject and the predicate may have modifiers. All of the following are simple sentences, because each contains only one clause:

    Melt!
    Ice melts.
    The ice melts quickly.
The ice on the river melts quickly under the warm March sun.
Lying exposed without its blanket of snow, the ice on the river melts quickly under the warm March sun.

As you can see, a simple sentence can be quite long -- it is a mistake to think that you can tell a simple sentence from a compound sentence or a complex sentence simply by its length.

Let's granualize my "shit" sentence you got so hung up about:

Quote from: "Until I Dont"

Sequence that horseshit MID.

Here comes the free education: *.MID is an optional file extension for a MIDI--or Musical Instrument Digital Interface--file...and clearly the file extension chosen for Bonehead's All I Ask sequence (Or MIDI recording--A 'sequence' simply because any MIDI recording is simply a list of values including note start time, frequency, length, and velocity [a.k.a. Volume]). So 'bullshit' is the adjective or modifier to our subject which is 'MID.' Now, I'm under the impression that in a primarily Teutonic language like 'Engrish' a person may acceptably place an adjective before a noun. Thus, saying, "Horseshit MID," is simply a way of calling the Musical Instrument Digital Interface a steaming pile of horse excrement. Which I believe most people would interpret as: IT SUCKS!

Furthermore, your post was justifying the MID which you clearly couldn't identify. So how dumb are you?

Holla at the wind,
T.W.

P.S.: Thanks to those of you with a sense of humor.

Until I Don't:

i'm sorry that people are giving you a hard time up here, b/c i experienced persecution and hurtful name-calling up here recently when i expressed my distaste for the picture that Van took in last month's issue of JANE. it seems that people draw their talons and 'bout fight you up here if you disagree with them or say something bad about Van or her music.

besides, i think it's weird, not to mention foolish and futile to argue over and defend someone you don't even know, anyway. i trust that Van is a big girl and can take care of herself, and don't need y'all's help. i highly doubt she comes up here anyway.

Good for you, that's a great attitude to have, I remain neutral on the JANE picture, I thought it was just a bit bland...I think that we can't go tear someone apart, or call someone names when they diss Vanessa or something, you're right she is a big-girl, and she probably doesn't even care if people like her, we can't build her up by breaking down other people, it takes away from her true talent, but I will defend her unconditionally if someone says terrible things about her!!!  Anyways, I was actually posting to say that I have alread learned "The One" and it is AWESOME!!!!  Peace out!

And all the constellations, shine down on you and me...

I never said I disagreed; I was simply commenting on the harshness of your words.

Actually, I was commenting on the MIDI file you posted.

"Mechanisticality" is a perfectly logical construction of suffixes, even if an awkward one.

I wasn't sure which one you were referring to.  There have been at least three posted now, including yours.  I have a good ear, and a lot of the MIDIs posted, as plausible an effort as they may have been, have made me wince a bit at a wrong note or twelve here and there.
As an aside, whoever composed the "Maple Leaf Rag" ringtone for Motorola phones needs some serious ear examination.

zurielshimon:

I was simply saying mechanisticitismalicality isn't a word. Forget the "logic." As for the rest, you should have said you were talking about my MID. That's a whores of a different color.

And VanessaPianus...um...thanks?
