C'es La Vie is disappointing to. I started playing part of it this morning and almost started crying... what a SHITTY transcribtion!!!!!! I was so incredibly disappointed. I think they just did an all around horrible job on the book. I was so excited to get it and now I'm just not anymore... if it weren't for Phu and B, I'd be dead.
i agree. i don't know why they charged so much money for the Harmonium songbook, but 'Songs In A Minor' had better arrangements [and more songs], and only cost $14.95; but Harmonium had worse arrangements and less songs to learn, and cost $16.95. i see a lawsuit in the future for Hal-Leonard. here's hoping.[/quote]
well, i started learning 'Papa' a week or 2 ago, and i'm getting it, but slowly, even though it was really hard at first. the key of Eb Minor [with its 6 flats] is not an easy one to play in, but i'm breaking into it. but i'm just thankful for the 'Scorch' MIDI, b/c i could slow it down to see how it's REALLY played.
