C'es La Vie is disappointing to.  I started playing part of it this morning and almost started crying... what a SHITTY transcribtion!!!!!!  I was so incredibly disappointed.  I think they just did an all around horrible job on the book.  I was so excited to get it and now I'm just not anymore... if it weren't for Phu and B, I'd be dead.[/quote]

i agree. i don't know why they charged so much money for the Harmonium songbook, but 'Songs In A Minor' had better arrangements [and more songs], and only cost $14.95; but Harmonium had worse arrangements and less songs to learn, and cost $16.95. i see a lawsuit in the future for Hal-Leonard. here's hoping.

well, i started learning 'Papa' a week or 2 ago, and i'm getting it, but slowly, even though it was really hard at first. the key of Eb Minor [with its 6 flats] is not an easy one to play in, but i'm breaking into it. but i'm just thankful for the 'Scorch' MIDI, b/c i could slow it down to see how it's REALLY played.

it's not even that expensive, imo. guitar books are like 21.95. hotel paper cost me that much, even :?  I was actually surprised to hear it was so cheap.

Agreed.
I'm still trying to get enough money to buy The Spirit Room/Hotel Paper sheet music for piano.
Sometimes though sheet music for piano IS expensive...
ONE song is like, 5$...
Ridiculous if you ask me.

Yeah, the one that was posted was only two pages. It did nothing for the variations on the piano part between the verses. I'm not skilled enough even to pick that out by ear :?

I would still love full sheets for (if anybody is willing to do only one of them I'd be thrilled):
Faces
Devil Dance
Burden
Swindler
BIRDIE!!!!
Nessa's version of Greensleeves (PLEASE!! Or at least give me the chord progression!)
