The first kana...  Trying to write "Va" right?  You put "U" with '' and the small A...should be FU with '' and then the small A

Considering that the kana is from a mask of an image and not an actual font,
I'm not surpised although its difficult to spot the difference on here either :?

Not sure if this has been mentioned in this thread already, but according to what I read on the O-Board, the songbook for Harmonium is being released on June 22, 2005. I checked amazon.com, and it's listed there.

Hey thanks everyone for the comments on my clips.

Here is a complete version of "Papa". I'll warn you, it was recorded the other night after I had been playing for a little while so my fingers were starting to get tired. There's a couple mistakes but oh well. And it's not an easy song to play and sing so there's still lots of room for improvement!

Pyro, I don't play it the way you wrote it on the sheet music. I play it with fifths in each hand -- which seems to be Vanessa's favorite style. I'll give you a sheet sample when I have time to post it up. Tonight is the start of a very busy weekend for me. (PIANO RECITALS!!!)

have  the ability to transcribe Streets to sheet music?

Streets is the last to be transcribed. I'm sure someone here has the ear for it  :wink:

but there's only one problem with your playing; you could've added more 'ooph' or pizzazz to it to make it more intertaining, b/c as a performer, i believe in someone having stage prescence.

...She was showing us a little clip to help us learn it.  She wasn't performing it for us.

oh. i didn't know that. but it was a reasurance that her transcribsion of 'Papa' was accurate, though. sorry for the doubt. i just didn't want to waste money printing out paper, b/c it can get expensive.

but i did a little investegation on 'Papa', and i found out that it's not really in Eb Dorian Mode, but in Eb Minor, b/c Eb Minor has 6 flats. [i played it next to a few songs that were in the same key, which is how i came to this conclusion]. but just in case someone disagrees, it's pretty much the same thing. i always knew it was in minor key, but i could never figure out what it was until recently.

what happened to the complete version of 'Papa' you cooked up? the other night when i came up here, i looked everywhere and couldn't find it, as if it disappeared in thin air, b/c one day it was here, the next day, it was gone.

but we'll see if they have 'The Wreckage' when the book actually comes out, though.

the wreckage is not in the harmonium sheet music book.  bummer!

i guess this is coz it's not actually part of the album, it's a hidden track.   but yeah...would love to have music for it tho
