As amberbeads said (Chloe? I can never remember her name EDIT : Natalie, sorry!) everyone who knew about the site bought at least one copy the first day. I bought two in the first week.
I really don't have anything to add, excpet STFU. Everyone else has said what's on my mind.

5 months later, Brad(Shades) still has a chip on his shoulder. sad.
I bought a couple copies of the CD like most the other fans, and the fans are the ones that had the leaks.

The fans all bought it, the general public didnt, thats the truth of it and why it flopped. Thank the record label for that.
Look at Avril's sophmore album. Single after single after single after single. That's how you promote an album. One song wont make an album huge, release 5 songs to radio, you'll see results.

Kelly Clarkson released a CD only a week or two after Vanessa. She's already had 2 singles and the 3rd single "Behind These Hazel Eyes" will be going to radio in a couple weeks.

Then there's Vanessa. "White Houses" barely made a dent, but no other singles, so the album flops because nothing more gets heard.
It's all about promotion, GET IT HEARD any way possible.
Give the girl her own reality tv show, she'll sell some CDs.

It would work.

But Harmonium has been shelved, its over.
