hey so i figured i'd register and share at least a few of my pics.. lol

i was with the girl with the lond blond/blue hair, we were talking to the whole front-of-the-line group. i didn't really take that many pictures because i was in an awkward place and i'm short, so when she was playing her piano, i couldn't see much of her.


in all fairness, the odeon's not THAT ghetto. this is facing away from the odeon, while in line. it's kind of nice. also, it's down in the flats/warehouse district which is below city level, it's where all the clubs and stuff are.


interesting outfit.  


i forget during which song this was, but it was the only one she played on the electronic keyboard.


this would have been a good pic if i didn't suck at timing.

also, i have like... a 10 second .mov file of the chorus from "white houses", but i don't have anywhere to host it. so if you want, i can send it to you and you can use it here or whatever!!

Katia was it just me or did their sound system TOTALLY make her sound like Mickey Mouse for the first few songs?

I loved (LOVED) this concert... It was my first VC concert and she did AMAZINGLY. I love Harmonium and I loved hearing all the songs live (no Morning Sting, but she DID play Swindler which made me totally happy).
I'm completely broke and could not afford the CD reserve thing, so I waited by the bus, and V came out of the venue and got on the bus, and then got back OFF her NICE, WARM tour bus and came out into the freezing cold (which I was not prepared for-- bad planning on my part, and I'm even FROM northern Ohio!!) to sign autographs for those of us who appeared to have been to cheap to reserve her new album (or so it seemed). I thought that was pretty damn nice of her.
I had her sign my BNN piano book, except I only had the cover, because like the crazy dork I am, I've played it so much it fell off, which I told V in the midst of my awkward OMG IT'S A CELEBRITY!!! geekiness, and she said, "Oh my gosh, that's awesome!" and I didn't feel quite so uncool.
My take on Low Millions was... I guess I'd call them a mix between Prince, Nine Days, and Maroon 5 (if you can actually picture that). I'm not really sure how I feel about them. I'll decide once I go to their site and check out their studio stuff.
So this concert was frickin AWESOME, I'm SO GLAD I got to go, and to all you Nessaholics there, I'm SOOOOO sad I missed you, I would've loved to meet up with you!!!!!!

Wow! What a fun concert! (minus standing on 3 inch stilettos for 5 hours)
V was amazing- but then again what else is new?  It was awesome that you could preorder Harmonium and get the CD booklet with it- props to the 'nessaholics' mention in it! lol

I enjoyed meeting the other Nessaholics that were there- it was a good time!!

The concert security people were a pain in the ass though- FOR SURE.


I'll write more later- I have to bolt!

Front row between center and stage left (the right of the audience). I know you'd told me what you'd be wearing but the only person I noticed wearing something similar was a girl who talked in French (I think) to this other girl the entire time...
