Okay, before I say anything I want to make it perfectly clear that I do not intend to compare the indefectible Vanessa Carlton with the reproachable Christina Aguilera because such a thing would be flameworthy beyond perception.  But that said, Christina said that "Genie in a Bottle" was not about sex, but the words clearly are about sex.

So maybe "White Houses" and "Afterglow" have double meanings, but the denotation can't be ignored.

But my question is since it was mentioned, if "White Houses" isn't about sex, then what is it about??? :?

My new album will be coming out in July of next year, and on it there are songs that sound like they're about weather and shopping and just hanging out with friends, but they're not.  Every song on the album is really about sex. :lol:
