I guess I got bored. Just started typing.
The soul screams, but not in silence, no.
In darkness, hidden away in open sight.
Fooling no one.
Hope has taken its leave
Fear of Flight caused the Fall
Descent to Deceased.
Choice is caged watching
Frenzy scatter Dreams.
Helpless welcomes Hopeless with open arms
Come for coffee, stay for the storm-
Foolish trumps Hope with Deceit.
Teetering balance on piano notes
Carried along on others songs of flight
In dreams she never can fall
But don’t risk going out on your own.
Going it alone.
Slung the corners of doubt
You’ll never come home
But you’ll never be alone..
Suddenly
The shadows’ reflection in the mirror rings too true
Splintered fractured, misunderstood.
Shattered glass on the tips of bloody toes
Destiny delayed
Invisible. Cold.
Unheeded screams enact a toll on me
Though Shyness lingers, Dreams entreat
Truth is sleeping, curved and hidden in back bones.
Uncertainty still speaks to me.
But as Ferocity nibbles at my toes,
Courage grows.
