Unproffesional conduct

well she is only human and i guess it couldn't be helped. I attended her show at the soiled dove when she came to colorado. during "A thousand Miles" she stopped after the first verse and said "I'm sorry, i really have to burp." so she turned away from the mic and did so... Now if it were any one else i would demean them for such unprofessional conduct. just a funny story i thought you might like to hear.

lol Vanessa burps a lot... I've gone to, one, two shows where she's done it?  I can't remember.  But I think there are a lot of stories like that.

Besides, she burped into the mic at the R&R Hall of Fame. I thought that was absolutely hilarious.
At my show, in the middle of C'est la Vie she stopped and said, "Ah! Wait! I have a hair in my mouth!" :lol:

It's nothing less than I would expect if I had invited her into my own living room to play.  I've heard her say that it's because she drinks a lot of water and she swallows a lot of air bubbles with it.

Vanessa burps all the time, she explains that when she drinks water during a show she swallows air and when that happens she burps.  She burps on Pleased to Meet You, it's hilarious.  It wouldn't have been complete without a Nessaburp.

lol, I think if it´s a once, twice thing it´s ok.... but like if it starts to be more frequently then there must be something wrong there....or maybe b4 she walks in on stage she should spend a few minutes burping so she wont stop in the middle of it just to do so lol, or maybe she just does it to amuse the crowd...who knows? :?

i'm prety sure she does it to amuse the crowd...get 'em goin' a little bit...it's funny...as long as you have a sense of humor...as far as I've seen, ever gets a kick out of it.

Hehee that's silly.  Both times I saw her in 2002 she didn't burp during the shows, but maybe she's doing it more now for entertainment like someone said.    Leave it up to V to do something like that.  She's one in a million.

She didn't burp at any of the shows i went to on this tour.  It is something she tries to avoid but as she has stated before, she drinks water during the show and will often drink it so quickly that she swallows air.  By the time she realizes she needs to burp she is in the middle of a song.

I wouldn't consider it unprofessional but more honest.  Additionally, she usually would start the song over so the audience would still get to hear the song
