We should not judge her status as a musical artist based on what we think of her as a person.
Well, I guess we don't know her as a person either, to be technical. Sure, she's always in the tabloids, etc., but we don't know what she is REALLY like, and what is true and what is grossly exaggerated.

I wouldn't have a problem if she admitted she is a pop singer, it's the fact that she thinks she is a rock star that annoys me. I read a quote in which she compared her music to Haylie's. She said that Haylie is more dance, and her own music is "more rock", more "hard-edge".
I kid you not. She said her music is "Hard-edge".
