We should not judge her status as a musical artist based on what we think of her as a person.

Well, I guess we don't know her as a person either, to be technical. Sure, she's always in the tabloids, etc., but we don't know what she is REALLY like, and what is true and what is grossly exaggerated.

How fitting that that song is called "So Yesterday", haha.
I wouldn't have a problem if she admitted she is a pop singer, it's the fact that she thinks she is a rock star that annoys me. I read a quote in which she compared her music to Haylie's. She said that Haylie is more dance, and her own music is "more rock", more "hard-edge".

I kid you not. She said her music is "Hard-edge".

I just saw the video for Stars Are Blind and I gotta admit it isn't bad. It sounds okay and is kind of catchy and her singing is better than I was expecting. I've definitely heard much worse. Okay you can start flaming me now I can take it.

I just haven't heard it yet. I just don't want to sit there and judge her for what we think of her as - you're right, Megan, we barely know her as a person either - when her music may be great. The whole "She may be as good as Nessa" was not meant to be serious, BTW.

The music video is on overdrive at the MTV website.

I just heard it today on TV. I like it. I'm glad that it's different than the majority of pop music, reggae isn't very common on pop radio. You have not failed me, Paris.

I heard it: it's absolutely terrible!!!
I have nothing against her in general but her voice is pretty bad and the music is blah. (keep in mind I hate reggae!)

That's your opinion. I think she can sing, though, if that really is her.

I'd expect that someone that hates reggae wouldn't like it. That's like me with Metallica.

I believe that she means she doesn't like Metallica. That's sort of implied...

I must admit when I first heard part of the Paris Hilton's 'Stars are Blind". I thought maybe Gwen Stefani came out with another 'ok' catchy tune (I loved her music with No doubt but her solo stuff hasn't been my cup of tea). When I found out it was Paris, I was suprised.

I was hoping it could not be true! Lol.

(Also, it sounded like Metallica is a reggae band, hahahaha)
