Carrie was good all around. She was the best of the group in the country obviously. I didn't think her Philly was as God awful as they said. The problem with the 2nd song was that it's so associated with a male singer that it sounded kind of awkward but she changed it up for herself.
I totally agree with you. What's with the hate on Carrie's rendition of the song? I didn't think Anthony did it better (the song might suit a guy's voice better but still...).
Of course, Carrie kicked butt with the country part
Bo was good overall. Vonzell did okay too and Anthony still annoys me for some reason (it's not he's a bad singer, he just sounds okay to me and that's not good enough to win).
About Vonzell crying, I'm not sure what to think:
- either she was too stressed and kind of cracked under the pressure of the final week arriving or something bad happened to her or someone she knows the same day and, in that case, I totally understand,
- or (and I hope it's not that) they were vote-for-me-tears (aka sympathy/pity tears) and if that's it, that's really not fair play for the other contestants. I really doubt it though.
Anyway, can't wait for the result show tomorrow, I know who I want voted off
