As usual, I'm first to post for new years or christmas...sooo happy 2005 everyone!!! have a great one and hope its the best year yet  :lol:  

Tell us all what you did to celebrate the new year!!!

I went to my friends party for a short while then met up with my boyfriend Pete and we went to watch the fireworks together and scream to everyone  :twisted:

Here in Brazil it's 31 of December.... But I think I'll stay up too late and watch TV... There will be some shows on TV.. And I can't lose it....

I am very disappointed with them... I thought they were good singers, but they're not..... They don't know to sing... because if they know to sing, why did they choose to sing with playback? That's the end of the world for me..... I hate singers that makes/does/uses playback to sing....

Vanessa hasn't ever sung with playback, has she?

Hmm.. I don't think so...
I'm sure that in Brazil playback is when a singer doesn't want to sing live, so they ask to put the original song to pretend that is singging...., get it?

Playback é quando um cantor pede para colocar a música original gravada para tocar e o cantor no palco finge que está cantando, mas só mechendo os lábios.... isso é playback....

well, there are a bunch of different circumstances that might cause even Vanessa to use "playback"... there was speculation at some of the large performances she might have lip synced only because of the inability to mic her, run cables or what not in certain venues.  By choice I would guess Vanessa never uses "playback" because she has commented on several occasions how much she hates it and the fact that other artists do it.

I know for performances like the Grammy's they have the artist come in and do a "live" version of the performance prior to the actual show just in case something happens (they get sick, nerves, whatever) they can play the live performance and lip sync to that or such...

Yeah... that's true...... I think the artist that uses it, it's not a good singer..... Because if you're a singer, it's because you know to sing, so why don't you sing? That's OK

It's rare to see BRAZILIAN SINGERS singing live....... It's very hard.... Because of it I hate Brazil and Brazilians....

Oh really?  I went to a KLB show... I don't remember them lip synching... then again I was probably paying more attention to how nice Leandro looked... mwahahahaha.

Bem, fazer playback ou lip synching em concertos já é de mais. KLB é pior ainda, todos os dias eles aparecem na TELEVISÃO BRASILEIRA e só fazem lip synching. Como que você vai em um show do KLB? Oh Meu Deus... Existe gosto para tudo

Well, using playback or lip synching in concerts is the end... KLB is worse than I could thought... everyday they go to the BRAZILIAN TV and only uses lip synching. How do you go to a KLB concert? Oh My God... There're tastes to all
