I heard Nolita Fairytale at Best Buy over the weekend.  I heard the drums and recognized it then was extremely confused and couldn't believe i was hearing NF at BestBuy... i was like "dude, it's Vanessa!" really loudly :)

I have the worst luck for hearing Vanessa at places so i was quite excited.

I heard Nolita Fairytale at American Eagle yesterday!! I was walking through the mall and I heard it coming from somwhere, figured out it was there and went in. Other than that, I wouldnt set foot in American Eagle :lol:

i work at tjmaxx and we play a thousand miles, ordinary day, and whitehouses. And since the holidays are coming up, we play holiday music and they play V's version of greensleeves. I seriously hate tjmaxx but when i hear those songs it makes me happy for the 3 minutes they are playing.

Greensleeves is pretty dark, I'm surprised they play it.

Just before Christmas I was eating in a pub with some friends and they played Ordinary Day! It's really strange because OD did really badly in England (53 and if it's above 40, no one's heard of it) and if you ever mention Vanessa Carlton to people, IF they know her name they usually say "The A Thousand Miles girl?" or "Isn't she a one-hit wonder". Aaaand, I looked at my boyfriend and pointed to the air and said listen, and the girl next to me said "Isn't that Vanessa Carlton?" She had harmonium too. I've never ever met anyone else who knows any other song except ATM.
