Someone in Australia: I need help!
« on: January 26, 2005, 01:14:08 pm »
I'm trying to order an item from Sanitarium that's apparently only available to people in Australia.  I'm needing someone who can send it to me in the States if I have it sent to them.  I'll be glad to send them back their expense for overseas postage via International Money Order as soon as it arrives.  Any help is greatly appreciated! :)

I've been enjoying these for the last 30 years! I just have to find out about
availability though; the T-shirts are listed as 'currently out of stock'. As for a
size equivalent to a US XL - contact Sanitarium and ask about chest sizes in
centimetres and divide by 2.546 to convert to inches. Its your safest bet

I'm seeing that only Size 12 is out, but 14, and all the letter sizes appear to be in.  I'm going to contact them again, but do let me know if you think you'd be able to do this.  I can either send an International M. O. for postage or I could buy a second shirt, whichever you would prefer, because they're both about the same price.

A 2nd shirt is a great idea! Still need to qualify the M, L, XL sizing to be sure
what size is appropriate. There is quite a deal of variation here because the
imported apparel doesn't conform to Australian sizing. Likely an L for me

Then that sounds like a good Idea.  I'll order two shirts and you keep one for sending me the other.  I'm looking for a chart of Australian shirt sizes now.

Geez, I've been looking at the charts and it looks like I need an L too.  I usually wear XL here, but if theirs are generous (and most of the Australian charts I'm finding seem generous as well), then L should do me!  So, two L's is it? :D

My chest size is 38"/96.75 cm  I'm guessing that's L by Sanitarium's sizing :P

Okay, then I guess I'll order an L and an XL because I've been second-thinking.  If you're really interested in doing this, PM me your address and I'll place the order this week.

Officially, I'm still searching for someone who can help me out with this.  So I'm posting more details.  http://www.weetbix.com.au/ has a shirt I want, but unfortunately they won't ship to the states.  I need someone in Australia who will take delivery of this shirt and forward it to me, and in return I'll either send back an International M.O. for the postage or order a second shirt for you to keep.  I'd greatly appreciate any help I can get! :D

I've found someone to accept my shipment!  NESSAussie sent me his address, so I've placed the order and soon I should be the only person in Tennessee with a Weet-Bix t-shirt! 8)

I wore my W-B T-Shirt yesterday; its really comfortable and it certainly got
its fair share of intrigued looks while I was out shopping in Toowoomba  :P
