Regina and Vanessa shouldn't really be compared to each other. sure, regina does all the weird things like clicking, warblings w/e and vanessa just does straight up pop/alternative music. Both are great, both are AMAZING, let's leave it like that!  :)

That seems really funny to me. I suppose it's true. But don't you think if you wrote a complex song you would likely still remember it because of all the mental energy you put into it? And sometimes all I need to remember is the beginning of a piano song and it's like my hands know the rest.

but oh yea I just remember reading a regina quote where she said she's actually written tons more songs than she has recorded, but it's just been too many for her to remember. wow i guess that settles that

and I agree, Regina's piano is simple percussion most of the time and vanessa incorporates many many more classical elements. There are maybe 3 regina songs that show off any advanced piano at all. When I was first listening to her I assumed she was self taught.

So one of my former best friends from like middle school is in the new video for "better"..she's one of the Regina's hahaha. i was browsing myspace & yeah it was on her page & I could actually find her. She's the girl that's holding up an umbrella (the part where there's just one girl holding it up). Totally surprised I found her.

I'm gonna see her at an xmas party next month our old girl scout leader is throwing (she still keeps in touch with most of us) but i dont really wanna see her ah dangit lol but thats another story.

I bumped into Regina's radio cut of 'Better' while working at Kookoo Vino
one afternoon. Thanks to her 'Alternate' classification, she recieves more
air play 'Down Under' on networks like JJJ that we play at work. All of the
props in this thread confirm what I've felt from the start. Regina ROCKS!!

Got home after an absolute whirlwind of a day where I was without my car
and had to walk in the rain; but I came home and stuck Ms Spektor's work
on and everything seemed alright. The brilliance in her music is distracting
(If a more concise use of 3min, 22sec. than 'Better' exists I'd  :heart: to hear it)
