the show was amazing!!!! it seemed like a longer set list than usual. and yes the crowd was obnoxious with screaming shit at the silent moments, but vanessa seemed to like how the crowd shouted every lyric.

I'm gonna be so mad if the crowd ruins the show I go to!!  I've always hated obnoxious crowds.

Vanessa should play @ Largo in LA--there's a no chatting rule.  You've gotta give the artist complete attention and respect.  It's SILENT.  It's AWESOME!!

Actually, this board digested THREE(3) of my posts about the show...that was the testing thing.

Anyway, apart from the crowd, a large portion of whom needed to be beaten about the head and neck with a broken bottle, I really enjoyed this show.  Nessa was in a great mood, and played and sang superbly.  Ari Hest was perhaps my favorite opener for her ever.

My favorite part was Private Radio, not only because she pulled off this thing wherein she does a live digital loop of her voice and then sings over it; it's that there were slightly different lyrics in the bridge....maybe a single is in the works?

Anyhow, great to see Ghisy and Nicole and Toni there.  This was my favorite show of this tour.....and 2 more to go!!!

PS Tell me about this place in LA.  Maybe I need to get back out there!

http://www.largo-la.com/largohome.html  --Largo's website.

Hey everyone, I was wondering if it will be a problem bringing a really professional-looking camera into a Vanessa concert (even though I'm not a professional photographer).  I've seen lots of fan photos from concerts, so I figured cameras were allowed...?  I hope so!!

Thanks for the link!

I think the picture-taking rules vary from venue to venue.  I see people taking pics, but my impression is that it's frowned upon.

Also, it would seem to be distracting to Nessa to see one of those big azz flashes in the middle of a song.

You may want to PM some of the higher-ups on this board.  I seem to recall VC saying that she didn't like pics being taken during the show.

I thought the crowd wasn't that bad actually. The chick who kept on yelling "I love you, Vanessa!" after every song was a bit annoying though.

I concur with everyone that this was one of the best Vanessa concerts. She was on rare form last night, was in a great mood and was very talkative. Loved it. Definitely the best Vanessa concert I've been to. My favorite part was probably Private Radio, Who's To Say, Wanted, and Annie. SO glad she played Annie!

Well, the camera I'm wanting to bring won't need a flash.  So it wouldn't be distracting.

Do you think Vanessa just hates the flash or doesn't like the pictures being taken in general?   :?

I guess one's hatred of the audience is directly related to how close one is to the "I Love You Vanessa!" chick.  (Actually, a "c" word comes to mind other than "chick") She was right next to me!
BTW she doesn't "love" Vanessa.  She likes to hear herself talk.  I got a blow-by-blow account of Ari's set, too.  I must have done something bad in a previous life.

When she was not bellowing like a stuck pig, other people were discussing VC, the show, their trip to the show, how many times they wiped that day, and God knows what else.

Even with all that, I STILL enjoyed the show.
