[discussion]

just got back from the city.

this show fucking ruled.

Setlist

Ordinary Day
Who's to Say
San Fransisco
This Time (new)
Put Your Hands On Me (or something about the Dahli Lahma) (new)
A Thousand Miles
The One (new)
Twilight

okay...the show was short and sweet.

I'll just comment on the new stuff b/c that's what everyone's been waiting for.

This Time - this is an excellent song.  the lyrics were great.

Put Your Hands On Me - kind of dirity    , but very good.

The One - talk about great songwriting.  i just sat there and thought "Holy Crap this chick can make music".  Very good song about a dumb guy.

i dont think anyone will dislike these new songs.  they're unfuckingbelievable.  I'm not sure which I liked the best.  They're all amazing.

She looked great too.  I'm a guy so I dont pay too much attention to clothing, but she was wearing jeans and these funky white boots.

Lizzie and I shared a tiny table with Nicole and Ghisy, while Ivy and Krys sat the table next to us.  If we were any closer, we'd have been on her lap.   :D

there were recordings so you'll all get to hear the new stuff.  the crowd was generally loud and absolutelty loving the show, but not during the songs, the recordings should be fine

and pics will be posted soon by those with digital cams (i'll post mine after they're developed)

she messed up Ordinary Day slightly, but kept on playing fine.  she later forgot the words to Twilight, but didn't let it bother her.

i think the execs should be very impressed, especially with the new songs.

sadly, no requests were taken.  krys and ivy yelled out superhero near the end, V kinna laughed and that was that.

oh, and she came out and took pics, signed stuff, then got into a cab and left.

meeting Ghisy, Ivy and Krys was cool.  It's always fun to meet the nessaholics.  It was great to see Katia and Nicole again as well.  see you all next tuesday    :D

so nicole...was it worth the $3 glass of water?   :D

OOOOHHHH Sounds amazing! Details, please!!! I am so jealous that I couldn't go as I am in Wisconsin right now and about to board a plane to Ecuador (long story!!)....

Please, any details you have on the songs, what V was wearing, how the crowd reacted, was it sold out, how do you think the record execs took it?
Thanks!!
~Carly
