Save Vanessa!!!
« on: June 23, 2005, 12:47:11 pm »
Okay everyone, I have divised a maniacly plan but I need everyone here in the forum to participate if it is going to work!!!  Okay, there are exactly 1,013 Nessaholic members as of this moment, if we all went out and purchased 2 more "Harmonium" albums and gave them to say our friends or people who seem as if they are interested in music, that is two more people who could become Vanessa fans, 2 times 1,013 is 2,023, think about that, 2,023 more people to be exposed to the great and talented Vanessa Carlton, it would not only boost her album sales, but it would bring more people to know Vanessa.  We could do her the biggest favor, for only the price of about $30 dollars, which isn't that big of a cost, but we need everyone to do this!!!  I think we should all call into the radios whever we are tonight, and request any song we want (particulary White Houses) anyone who reads this PLEASE do this without any excuses, or anything contradictions, cause I am going to, do this as soon as you can!!!! Please!!!!  WE COULD START A MOVEMENT, VANESSA NEEDS THE SUPPORT FROM HER FANS!!!!  FOR VANESSA!!!! (I have official gone off my rocker!)    thankss muchos!!!

Peace 8)

You HAVE gone off your rocker. Although, that's a good idea. You have to know, though, that SOME of her fans are pirates and download the album or have a friend copy it for them instead of buying it themselves, right? And, isn't it against copyrights to buy the album and give it to a friend? "Private Home Use..."

First off, no, buying a CD and giving it to someone else is not illegal.  It's a gift, but you did pay for it.  Buying a CD, making a copy of it (if you don't already own it), and then giving to someone is against copyrights.

But as much as I would like to buy another copy or two of 'Harmonium', I just don't have the expendible income right now.  But what I am going to buy within the next two weeks is the 12" single of "White Houses".  It's the first Vanessa Carlton vinyl record I've ever seen. :D

It's a good idea but so many people who are registered don't post and everyone knows who vanessa carlton is! We have no problem!

Hmm....I did, but that has nothing to do with this....I just feel if we all band together and really start a movement in honor of Vanessa we can influence everyone around us!!!  I already bought and extra copy of Harmonium and gave it to my friend, and I plan to go to the mall today to get another!!!  We can do this, just don't say it won't work, cause then it won't!!!

This is my SIGNED copy of the Japanese version w/ the dvd!

Gotta  Vanessa: when I was spelling my name (well nickname but this is what I wanted on the cover), she was like "oh I know how it's spelled!". Me =  8O  lol
And I already bought like 8 copies (?, I don't even remember! lol) of Harmonium. ;)

(let me know if the pic is too big, I'll make it smaller)

If we each buy 1,000 copies, we can have Harmonium hit platinum! ;)
