I don't think that it'll be the name of an obscure instrument again... However, I never would have known about the Harmonium had she not titled her album that.

It depends on what the album is made of. Vinyl's pretty soft. Shellac is hard, but brittle. CDs seem pretty hard, but they'll scratch if you stare at them too hard. Tapes are probably the hardest as even cracked cassettes usually don't show any loss in performance.
