this amazing tour is now coming to an end. stevie has been beyond generous. she completely absorbed me into her colorful and inspiring world. she's introduced me to interesting artists (painters and musicians). she's written me words of encouragment and praise. and most importantly, i know she believes in me. everytime i walked on stage this summer i felt her chiffon draped hands upon my shoulders.
it's easy to feel beaten up by an industry as tough as this one, but i know i will never walk with my head down again. afterall,stevie always says, "walk like a queen". i feel rehabilitated and refreshed and i am thoroughly diggin the new songs.
i'm goin into the studio mid september with linda perry to begin my third album. she friggin rocks my world.
with women like stevie and linda behind me i don't think i can go wrong.
i think it's safe to say that i'm one lucky bitch. ; )
