Whoever said "Breathless" wasn't a good representation of them was so right. Their other songs are much much better in my opinion, tho Breathless is catchy, don't get me wrong I love the song.

I did

First of all YAY for the Irish...

Secondly, they must be the most gene perfect family EVER. They're all gorgeous...its so unfair. Especially Caroline (fiddle/violin player)

You mean Sharon, right? Caroline plays drums, bodhran & piano.

the last album they made is a big no-no for me. i used to be a big fan of the corrs eversince they started in '95 but the last album simply sucked. it's so not them.

Anywho, i'm really feeling "Lough Erin Shore [Unplugged Version]" it has to be my most favorite song ever, I just listened to the best of cd today and i'm in love with that song. I love how it is just instrumental, it has the ireland flava on there.. I just <3 it!
I do like Erin Shore,  like al the songs of forgiven not forgotten and i must say that is my favorite for the style of music, they get more popy as they go along after that.

I think i like all the songs on forgiven not forgotten, shame it was stolen with all my other corrs cds and a load of others a couple of years ago :(.
I have it on the computer now, but the original sounds best on a cd player
 :(.

OOOOH, now THIS is my band.  :D  I adore The Corrs, I've got everything and love it. Puts a smile on my face everytime I listen to them! All I need is to see them in concert and I can die happy. I tend to run off a bit cornier than I already am when it comes to them. So don't mind me.

I agree what was being said earlier, "Breathless" was a great, catchy pop tune, but nothing close at all to what the real Corrs fans out there know their TRUE signature sound is.

That family is pure talent. Not to mention annoyingly GORGEOUS.

They are not that big here. Most have heard one or two of their songs but don't really know who they are.  'long night' sounds really good. 'humdrum' is crazy good. Their whole album is amazing. Pick it up people.

They were interviewed on Viva today! I hadn't seen them in ages and it's brought such good memories. I used to love them! I still like them a lot, but I'm not really a huge fan.

I hadn't heard Summer Sunshine yet and it's quite ok. I don't "love" it though  :?  It's a shame they got too poppy, Talk On Coners was such an awesome album and I think they kind of ruined a bit the magic of their folk-pop sound with celtic roots they'd achieved and that made them so special.

I have In Blue as well, but I don't think it's half as good as their previous albums. Has anybody heard the rest of Borrowed Heaven yet? What is it more like? By the sounds of Summer Sunshine I'm guessing it follows the In Blue line... but you never know.

there's only four seasons
and this one's almost gone
these nights feel so good
but this one's almost gone

Summer Sunshine is probably the most poppish song on that album anyway... The other ones are more like The Corrs lol if it makes any sense...
