He is the most amazing composer...I can't get enough, his metamorphosis pieces are to die for.

Minimalism just does not do it for me David.. sorry... if i wanted to hear the same thing repeated over and over and over.. i'd find a five year old to sing "the song that never ends"  ;)

Tht being said.. Glass does have the occasional piece that is pretty good...

LMAO song that never ends...that's great! I don't know there's just something mezmorizing and poetic about his music that drives me towards it...I know what you mean though...it can be redundant.

I Recently purchased the Hours soundtrack, and went to a Q & A with Glass and Micheal Cunningham (the author) They are both brilliant people. The  HOurs score still can't top the Glassworks album...phenominal.

There's a great Aphex Twin mix of Philip Glass and David Bowie. They mixed "Heros" with some of Glass's more hypnotic composures...It's pretty eerie, but worth checking out! It's up for bootleg on Kazaa!

Speaking of Philip Glass, I love how the creators of Southpark animated him and stuck him in one of their episodes.  I know it was ages ago, but I still think of that secular holiday pageant when I think of Philip Glass.
