For those of you who've seen the series Firefly and even those of you who haven't check out  this article on "Serenity", which is coming out next week:

http://www.usatoday.com/life/movies/news/2005-09-21-serenity_x.htm

I am a recent Firefly fan and I am totally psyched. Any other Firefly fans here looking forward to this movie?  I have plans to see it with a bunch of friends next Saturday.

They have a pretty snazzy site to promote the movie:

Yep, I'm a big fan of the show and am looking forward to seeing the movie, too.  From the trailers, it looks like it should be good.

I also love Firefly, which has become my favorite show, and I've been looking forward to the movie(s) for months now <3

Unfortunately it won't be in Denmark before november, so I'll just have to wait a little longer :(

I saw Serenity last night, it definitely left me wanting more. I hope the series comes back... but even if it doesn'tn Joss has presented a great set of episodes and a movie behind.

I recommend seeing this movie.  Seeing the series before hand (it's 14 episodes are on dvd) definitely adds to the appreciation of the characters, but I think a newcomer can enjoy the film as well.

I love these characters!

So do I...they're all so lovable.  Watching the series definitely helps you get to know them and appreciate how great they all are.

LOL.  There are so many great lines in this movie. Joss defintiely has a give for writing dialog that a lot of screenwritters lack.

I finally got to see it this morning.
It was an enjoyable movie! The only thing was I saw it in a small theater (and I'm in Paris right now, can you believe it?!) and the sound kinda sucked (not loud enough for me). So it ruined the movie a bit for me.  :?

Have you guys ever listened to "The Signal" podcast?  I discovered it right after the movie came out.  It's produced by fans and they have interviewed some of the cast and crew.  The show is pretty entertaining. I am hooked and recommend it:

The mp3s of the shows are available on:
http://signal.serenityfirefly.com

but you can also subscribe through iTunes for free
