Unfortunately I haven't been to all these cities...so I chose NYC since I have been there, but I've heard so many wonderful things about San Fransisco and I have a feeling I'd like it there better.  If for no other reason, the weather!!

Now that I've had more time to explore my options, I have to put Memphis and New Orleans at the top of my list.  These two cities are just awesome, and I'd love to live or work in either one. :D
