Piano Tracks
« on: October 15, 2005, 08:42:56 am »
Hi everyone, this is my first post here (I've mainly been lurking around for a while though!). I'm a classically trained pianist and composer with a new site. I've got 3 tracks up there, more will be added asap, just need to re-record a few tracks. The track named 'Eb Minor Movement One' is a typical example of the style of my piano pieces.

Hope you enjoy the site, sign the guestbook and say hello!

I don't like the first part of the movement, but the rest is pretty good. I like more "Magic".

Have you got any sheet music done for your songs?

Thanks for visiting the site and thanks for the feedback! Can I ask what about the first part of the movement you didn't like? Just curious to know and love getting honest feedback. Even though I'm musically trained, I'm pretty hopeless as notating my work (wish I had kept working at theory!) but I have overture which I am going to use. I have lots more compositions, just need to re-record and load up. I'll post on here with updates...

Thanks again.

You're a very good piano player. I agree with the other poster. The beginning of Eb Minor Movement didn't appeal to me. It just seemed a little too uneven. The rest was really good. You're piano writing schools are hot. Keep it up!

The part I don't like is until 0:25, and from the 1:30 (I think it's the same). I don't like this, but the rest is very good.

I like the Eb Minor Movement 1.
The start reminds me alot of the Dresden Dolls. It's nice and dark and vaguley creepy.

Can clearly hear the classical background you have :)

Keep up the awsome composing!

Hi guys, thanks so much for all your comments. I have added a new clip, it's called Ballroom and it's a little different from my usual stuff. It started out as a song but I love it as an instrumental. I am going to re-record it because whilst playing around on the piano yesterday, I realised it could sound a lot better played slightly differently so I'll post that up when I can.

As for other tunes, they should be up next week.

Thanks again.

Hiya, just a quick post to say I will definately have something new up on the site this weekend. Also, I wrote a new piano piece yesterday and I think it's my current favourite so I'll put it up asap!

What did you all think of 'Ballroom'?

Hiya, I haven't posted for AGES (uni is keeping me way too busy!). Anyways, just writing to say I have moved permanently to myspace now and I have a new track added.

Let me know what you think. Hope you're all good :D
