One of the greatest things about autumn in NYC.

NBC TV just ran a little Vanessa profile/interview, not her acutally running the race, a pre-recorded thingy.
Very nice!

there were two articles all about v in todays news papers...the post and soemthing else, i forget

but anyway...it said that she was busy with a teen vogue photo shoot...

If you go to the NYC marathon offical site you can search for the name of any runner, and get their splits, and finish time.

OK IT WORKS NOW.

Dunno... About 39000 ran... Also... on her page, it says she came in 7487 but on the list it says 7488

YES.

In a word, ANY marathon finish is good. Remember, this is a race that the first guy who ever did it DIED at the finish.

Unless you've trained, the average person would never finish one either.

Running a marathon isn't about winning unless you are likely born in Kenya and raised from a kid to win these. Simply finishing them is the goal, and she placed pretty well in the pack.

umm...Gary Muhrcke won the first ever NYC marathon back in 1970

he then competed in 1973, 1976, 1978, 1979, 1980, 1983, 1984, 1987, 1989, 1994 and 1999

so yeah...he didn't die at the finish line.
