i dont understand why people buy american beer in the first place? it's fermented piss water.
Spoken like someone who doesn't drink much beer and doesn't appreciate the beer she drinks.
America is FULL of quality beers. Do not equate Bud, Miller and Coors with "american" beer.
And on top of that, those are all light lagers. They taste EXACTLY how a light lager SHOULD taste. It's just that light lagers don't have a lot of flavor... which just happens to be how most Americans like their cheap beer.
But you cannot say all American beers are fermented piss water..... try the following, then come back and talk to me...
Yuengling porter, Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, Anchor Steam, Shiner Bock, Fat Tire, Abita Amber, Dundee's Honey Brown, Rogue's Shakespeare Stout (the only rogue I like), Two Hearted Ale (kinda like Sierra Nevada, but IMO, not as good).
Seriously. Just ignorant.
okay, then let me reprase myself since apparently beer is a touchy subject:
Budweiser, Coors, Miller are the most popular american beers and is what i was referring to with what i said above. and it seems that the reason why people buy and drink those gross american beers is because it's cheap and they want to get drunk off of it. but my personal perspective is.. if it tastes bad, why drink it? just to get drunk? thats just seems so stupid to me, but every american i have encountered and spoken to about this seems to have that same perspective which i will probably never understand being that i was not raised in an american family.
i have had good american beer, such as Sam adams (the octoberfest edition especially was really good) and some that i didn't like, such as sierra nevada and alaskan.
i'll look out for the other brands that you've mentioned and let you know.
so when i say fermented piss water, i'm referring to bud light, coors, etc.
