So, I decided to create a myspace film page...its very much empty at the moment, but go ahead and add me.  Eventually I'll have some short films up there for everyone to see.

You know... I'll be perfectly honest with you.  I created a Facebook page the same day I created the MySpace one.  I really think Facebook is vastly superior.  You don't have to put up with crappy layouts, mismatched and unreadble colors over dumb backgrounds.  Everyone has the same nice compact layout.  And the back end which allows tagging and more direct interaction between members I think is great.  So yeah.. while MySpace may allow you to create you own personal trashed up "I throw my useless crap everywhere" kind of page, I think Facebook is better at actually allowing you to contact people you know and interact with them.

I agree. I saw no need for myspace after I got a facebook, but you can't personalize facebook nearly as well as myspace and sometimes it's nice to have a mini iPod on your site to show your friends what you're listening to, and a blog to let them know what's going on.  Myspace is useful for networking within your Top 8 or whatever, as those people are the ones who are usually all friends with each other and they can easily find out what's going on with everybody else.  I just wish Myspace would adopt a tagging system like facebook.
