Being so close at her concert that I could like touch the stage... that was cool. And also getting to meet her after the concert for the meet & greet where she signed everyones cd... that was fun. It was short, but she was really cool.

My favourite moment (so far) was the look of surprise on Vanessa's face when she held my 'Be not Nobody' cassette and remarking that she didn't even know it existed! :D

Glad You Guys Are Being Active on my Topic

I feel a surge of nostalgia from Millford flooding back to me. I'll describe.

I was always active in Nessa's GPA. I cared about everything that she got on tests/quizzes/projects and leave me alone assignments (something made up by nessa, you can ask her).
Once on a math test about dividing fractions, Nessa failed and I fortunately, got an A. I quickly asked the teacher to switch our grades. She didn't believe me. After, I begged her that I put my name on the wrong paper. She then accused me and Nessa of cheating, so we both got zeros.
Nessa was happy that we got the same grade. She even offered me a special sandwich for lunch (it's name had something to do with knuckles). I guess my care for her grades paid off.

Out of curiosity Julinda, where does your name come from?
it is well...original.

PS. I would have done that same thing.

My favorite Nessa Moment:

I was at her concert in the city last year and was kind of upset at not being able to see her up close.  But as I was walking out I saw her coming from backstage and i think my heart actually stopped for a few seconds.

When she played here in Raleigh last year, I was the first one there so I waited in my car for a few minutes which was just a few feet from her tour bus. She and an Asian girl got out of her bus and went into the venue and I was too chicken to get out of my car and aske her to sign my cd. Not only that but I would have felt weird, like I was invading her privacy or something. But it was cool because I had never seen her that close before.

That night at Lincoln Theatre and The Living Room are definitely my favorite Nessa moments.
