i'm not much for high pitched noises, but Sway was better than Pat in my opinion....and Smiles (name?) sang Shout pretty well, very entertaining i thought.

the pretty chick who got booted, i was surprised that she was voted off. she wasn't great, but not terrible either...i knew Bobby and that other girl (name?) would def get voted off

Patrick was pretty bad IMO plus he wasn't good looking enough to get votes. Sway was good because that song was very hard to do. It can make you look terrible if you're not a good singer.

Yeah I think the Shout performance was good too, it was really entertaining. I just don't think overall he should be the American Idol if we had to choose over Patrick is what I was trying to say.

But I agree with you about the girl who got voted off, I actually liked her, but then again with the whole Maxim thing coming out & her attitude last night, I'm not totally upset about it.

Okay I like Gedeon now (the "Shout" guy). It's kind of a random story as to what changed my mind, but yeah i'll be voting for him that's for sure. As well as Taylor of course.

I can't stand Kellie "pick me" Pickler. Please tell me i'm not the only one.

Mandisa rocked. So did Kinnik & Melissa...didn't like any of the other girls' performance tonight cuz I felt they didn't pick the best songs.

I don't know how anyone can not like her but I'm a bit biased. I find her irresistible. She's just too cute IMO.

I think that the people going home are Heather and Brenna but if one of them stays I wouldn't be surprised if Kinnik left. This week's girls were all choosing terrible songs except for Ayla, Kellie, and Melissa.

I think the guys are a lot better this year in general...the only girls I really like are Mandisa & Katharine. Maybe Ayla too. A lot of people on the myspace AI group can't stand Kellie either.

Gedeon really surprised me tonight & Chris...wow!!! He just made me forget everyone elses performance, it was amazing.

Chris is from NC...

but i am tired of Pickler and Covington....they act like they can't drive 20 minutes and get "normal" food...

"I had my first spinach salad in L.A." ...honey, you can drive up the road and get one...try it next time.

Hoey, normal food for them is probably very different from our normal. They're probably from very rural areas so it's going to take them time to adjust to the big city. They both seem very much like the Beverly Hillbillies.

I live an hour away from both of them...they can drive 20 minutes up the road and get to a chain food restaurant...such as Chili's, Ruby Tuesday's, Applebees...etc.

"Rural" doesn't mean it takes 5 hours to get there....

Alright, I finally caught up and saw all the shows from the 2 previous weeks!
Luckily, all my fav' girls are still there. And Carrie was there! yaaaaay!!

I don't see what the problem is with Kellie: she IS adorable. Period.
And now since I'm being lazy, I'm gonna copy and paste what I posted on my LJ: (warning, this is pretty long!)

I have a weird favorites choice this year: I'd say they fall into 2 categories.

1- the ones I like the most are:
- Katharine McPhee: she's part of the 1st group, being described as "good voice, likeable and everything". I just don't know why but I like her a lot, not the best vocals but there's something about her that definitely attracts me,
- Ayla Brown: better vocals than Katharine, she also falls in the same group. Great girl, I like her a lot too,
- Kellie Pickler: again, not the best vocalist but I have the same feeling as all the judges: you just gotta love this girl! She's so cute, adorable and fun,
- Melissa McGhee: now I don't remember her from the auditions, I think they didn't air hers. But I'm growing more and more fond of her each week, I don't know why. I like her unique voice and she has a good personality too,

2- now the 2nd group: I'd call them "the best vocalists but for some reason I like them less":
- Lisa Tucker: amazing voice, great personality but I don't know, I get a mixed feeling about her without being able to say why. Maybe she's too young? I don't know...
- Paris Bennett: I don't dig her voice that much but she's good. Kinda like the same feeling as Lisa with the youth thing,

- Mandisa: amazing voice as well. But I'm gonna be a Simon Cowell here: it's not just about the voice, a girl's gotta have the whole package as they say. But I can definitely see her doing something in the future if she doesn't win, great potential! She's not a fav' of mine but I had to put her name here and give her props.

Apparently people on the AI board didn't get it either cuz they are sending fox emails wanting to replace her now & every other post is about it. I'll explain it if you want cuz I get it.

And the problem with Kellie for me is, she said she's never sung infront of a lot of people & acting like she's never done anything like this, but she won & sung in a huge pageant thing & if you see all the pics & stuff on her fan sites, she seems totally different than who she is saying she is. That's why I don't like her. Plus her voice isn't that strong compared to some of the others.

I agree with the quality of her voice but do you have some links to those pictures you're talking about?
