I hardly ever post about rock groups, but they are good. One of my good friends had their song "Apologize" on her page & I loved it, then Marie' Digby recommended them to me so I checked out the rest of their songs & they are amazing. They aren't your typical band in my opinion, so check them out...

"Apologize" is definitely my favorite song & the one you should listen to first.

They posted on their MySpace about a week ago that they'll be on So You Think You Can Dance next Thursday. I used to like their lead singer Ryan Tedder when he was a solo act. He has a really nice voice.

katia, download ares & you can download the songs for free there until they are up on itunes if you want. or you can just buy their cd at a record store, if you like all the songs on their myspace you should like the whole cd.

& damn I forgot Marie' Digby recommended them to me..and now she's like famous because of her Umbrella cover lol how weird.

Omg you talked to Maria Digby! Thats amazing!

Anyway, "Apologize" is a sheer masterpiece. They play it often here on local radio stations.

haha yeah, this was like a year ago though before she got famous & it was only on myspace.

& you know..I hear Apologize all the time on peoples myspaces, but never on the radio. strange.

Anyone pick up the 1R CD "Dreaming Out Loud" ??

Wondering what you think.  I have been listening to it quite a bit and have been really impressed.  It is a CD you can listen the whole way through which is awesome :)

Ryan Tedder, basically the whole band, was on an MTV contest back in 2000 and he won & was supposed to get a record deal but it didn't happen. I've liked him since then. Look up his song "The Look" that he won the contest with... it's really good!

But anyway when I first heard "Apologize" I didn't know it was him, but I loved it immediately and reminded myself to look up the lyrics. When I found out it was the long lost Ryan Tedder I kind of freaked out :)
