So I picked it up today at Best Buy. Of course it rang up at $13.99. I said um that is supposed to be 7.99. She said did you get it on the 7.99 rack I said no it was in the aisle under a 7.99 sign and it is in the paper. I showed her and she said ok, I just had to see it. If she would have looked close she would have seen they have a different cover. She just looked for Mandy Moore and Coverage. It didn't say limited edition but it was under a 7.99 sign so yeah...

I am listening to it now. I like it. I haven't ever heard of a lot of these songs so that's cool too. "I Feel The Earth Move" I love Martika's version so that is messing this one up for me. CK well I like Martika's cover better.

I still swoon and cry like a little girl durring AWTR and I have seen it like 20 times too.  That girl just kills me.  There are so many great lines in that movie.

Soooo...

I loved "Coverage" I am listening to it right now! I already reviewed in on my web page.  :)  It's really good, I love "Drop The Pilot", "Anticipation",
"Can We Still Be Friends", "Help Me" and pretty much all of them!  (I'm not crazy about "Breaking Us In Two", but it's okay).

What about y'all? ( )

Do you like these songs because they're covers by other individuals and you like how Mandy Moore remade them, or is it like hearing them for the first time for you?  I think her CD is good, I have a couple concerns about it though.  I'll elaborate later :)

I've heard "Anticipation", "I Feel The Earth", "Help Me", "Moonshadow", "Have A Little Faith In Me", "One Way or Another", and "Drop the Pilot". I also think she sings them fantastically. I like it for both reasons. I just think "One Way or Another" is a bit cheesy (1, 2, 3, Go Mandy!)

It has been done many times, but I do like hers.  :)

does she really say Go Mandy? I never noticed.

anticipation is one of my favorite songs ever (a la carly simon), and i was somewhat scared to listen to mandy's version of it. i was surprised when i did enjoy her cover.

thumbs up. not only is mandy a good musician, but a good role model. and i like her. :-)

Check out Mandy's awesome Sessions @ AOL performance :

http://channels.netscape.com/ns/music/videos/sessions.jsp

Scroll down and you can access a live version of "Have A Little Faith In Me", and an interview with small clips of "Moonshadow" and "Drop The Pilot" live. She sounds so great! She got all those high notes and stuff.
