Crank is the best movie I've seen in like a year. I kid you not.  Jason Statham is ten times better than the cheese of Vin Desiel's work in the past 3 years.

It's a guy movie, plain and simple. GO SEE IT!

Hmm, I watched a clip of Amy Smart, er, performing for him in the car while he was being chased by a different car and the movie seemed sloppy. Jason Statham is the man, though.

the movie seemed sloppy.

the directing style is very Oliver Stone-esque with the quick cuts and artsy projection scenes on a wall type of thing like OS did in Natural Born Killers.

have you not been to the movies in a year?

it looks like a fun flick, and i plan to check it out.

(for a good film, go see POTC 2, Little Miss Sunshine, and The Illusionist...3 of the best films this year so far)

Lionsgate Home Entertainment will release Crank on January 9th, 2007. Jason Statham stars in this high-powered thriller as a professional hitman who's been poisoned and has only hours to live. And the only way to prolong the poison from stopping his heart is to keep his adrenaline flowing.

Available in separate anamorphic widescreen and fullscreen editions, each with Dolby Digital 5.1 & 2.0 tracks, bonus materials will include running cast & crew audio commentary, behind-the-scenes footage, gags, maps, making-of insights, interviews and more all accessible via the "Crank'd Out Mode" - a unique new pop-up window feature that allows access to the extras without ever leaving the film! Retail is $28.98. Also look for a 50GB Blu-ray disc version day-and-date for $39.99.
