yep, gives me that feeling too. fantastic. probably just because I bought it in November, and the songs aren't exactly "summerish."

Yeah I totally agree though I think it has an autumn feel to it too or maybe like a progressive thing moving from the end of Summer  or beginning of Autumn with White Houses to a beginning of Spring/April showers feel with She Floats. lol reading back that doesn't really make much sense, but I know what I mean...that's something...right? :?

I agree with the various opinions about the mood that HARMONIUM puts you guys in. Y'all read my mind. It brings me back to that time when I bought the album back in early 1/05. [I wanted to buy it Xmas Eve from Wal-Mart during the Xmas rush, but found I didn't have enough $$$; I guess it wasn't time. Embarrassed the hell outta me.] At first, I didn't like most of the songs, but I loved every song by the time I refunded it back @ Wal-Mart 3 weeks later [at the end of January] b/c I needed the money for something else. I didn't want to take it back, but had to. Moreover, her album got me the hard time I was going through then. But other than that, the album reminds me of mid-winter, when it's the coldest in my area and it snows. Her Sessions@AOL remind me of the fall. She should be releasing them soon if everything goes fine.

I definitely think of the winter, since I bought the CD in the winter. Especially songs that I don't listen to all the time. It brings back glorious deja vu.

Harmonium makes me think of the winter, but not entirely, I mean, White houses is summerish. That's what I think 'cause I heard White houses for the first time at summer holidays, but songs like Afterglow or C'est la vie make me think of autumn.
Isn't the album a little depressing?

Yea it is kinda depressing. But also, the winter is kinda depressing. So is the album depressing because you listened to it during the winter, or is it just plain depressing? The reason I say that is because it's actually biologically unavoidable... seasonal affective disorder!
