Yes, Christina can sing & I like some of her songs...however, I don't like this new stuff.  Nothing about it appeals to me.

I am not ashamed to be the lone Britney supporter on this forum.   :D  I wish Federline & motherhood had never happened to her, though.

I don't really like either of them, because their music is not really my style.
I think Christina has a great voice, but I really don't like the style in which she sings (her songs sound "over-sung" to me and lots of other people). I do like that she stands up for herself and what she believes in, even if I don't always agree.
As for Britney, I think she also has a good voice, but only in the songs that suit her. I think her voice sounds great in "Toxic" and similar songs, but annoying in others, like "Not A Girl, Not Yet a Woman". I don't know if she could be really successful in music again, but it is good that she puts her family first.

Always liked that Christina can actually SING, but like 99.9% of everyone else out there, she overdoes it.  The constant trilling, hitting/yelling notes only dogs can hear......yawn.

I really like Christina's first album.  It's a pop masterpiece.  Xtina lost me, though.  The lamest of the lame.

I respect her as a musician.  I think she has quite an instrument.

Britney was lucky enough to hook up with great producers and management and a happening record company.  Her looks didn't hurt, either!  

The first couple of singles were cool, but I cannot call her a singer.

Out of the two i kinda perfer Christina. However, i dont like her new sound. I liked the songs on Stripped. Britney...well i dont really know what to say. She doesnt really have a great voice, but her sounds are VERY appealing.

Haha. I agree. I know this is off topic, but that reminds me of Mariah Carey. So many inappropriate high notes that come outta nowhere! She'll be singing a fairly low part then all of a sudden... OW! MY FREAKIN' EARS!

haha! She definitely sings inappropriate high notes, but I still love it.. probably just out of admiration that she can actually hit those notes. I also like how christina and mariah get really into their voices.
