I believe vanessa has a larger solid fan base than most people realize. Most of them have lives and consist of a LOT of musicians and other artists. I run into people online all the time who have never posted anywhere but admire her very much. I guess it is more of a lot of people who admire her work that are out there and kind of latent because they are normal people with things to do. But they do ask about the up coming album. I mean she doesn't put albums out very often, so it is pretty impressive she has that many people still following her years later.
